Creative Scotland Bill Response
On the 12/03/08 an Executive Bill was introduced that would enable a new cultural development agency called Creative Scotland to take over from the Scottish Arts Council and Scottish Screen.
This written response was submitted to the parliamentary committee for Education, Lifelong Learning & Culture on 11/04/08.

Scottish Vetting & Barring Scheme (Protection of Vulnerable Groups)
The Scottish Artists Union participated in the Scottish Government's consultation on the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007, Scottish Vetting and Barring Scheme, Policy Proposals for Secondary Legislation, that ran through the latter half of 2007 and early part of 2008.
